Amanda Buckle is a Birth Doula and Registered Acupuncturist.  She is also the happy and proud mother of a teenage son. Amanda’s birth experience was supported by the services of a doula and acupuncture. This support greatly reduced the pain of her contractions during her twenty-two hour birth and enhanced her ability to enjoy a wonderful birth experience. This experience fueled her passion to share her knowledge, skills and experience to support other women in achieving their own positive birth experience.

Amanda has a devoted interest in promoting natural pain relief for childbirth and approaches her work with a calm and relaxing demeanor. She is DONA trained, a Hypnobabies Hypno-Doula and is trained in the use of the rebozo. She continues to develop her skills and deepen her knowledge through research and continuous post graduate education. She helps clients prepare their bodies for birth with acupuncture and guidance in the areas of nutrition and exercise. She is a devoted doula and practitioner and looks forward to supporting you and your baby at this wonderful time. Amanda also provides support for those who are planning a cesarean birth. She offers care in the weeks leading up to the birth, as well as optional acupuncture treatments.
